Labette County Emergency Management
Grants from the Parsons Area Community Foundation allow organizations like ours to provide some basic needs to our citizens. Through foundation grants, our agency has distributed smoke detectors to county residents who would otherwise go to bed at night without any means of being alerted to a fire in their home.
Parsons Community Garden
The Parsons Community Garden was founded with the goal of providing people the opportunity to grow healthy food, be physically active, and interact with others while also reducing their food costs. The grant received from the Parsons Area Community Foundation provided funds to purchase equipment that has removed many barriers, allowing gardeners of all abilities and ages to participate.
Labette County Emergency Assistance Center
With the tremendous financial support of the Parsons Area Community Foundation, those in desperate need of basic human services are provided for in Labette County.
